STILLWATER / FIELD GUIDE
HUSH Loot Items: Sources and Practical Uses
Last updated:
Find the containers to check for specific HUSH loot items, identify materials and electronics, and decide which supplies matter for your current raid.

Look for Scrap in Cabinets and Wardrobes, Tape in Crates and Cabinets, Rags in Wardrobes, and Toolkit in Cabinets. Check residential Medicine Cabinets for Bandages and Pills, plus Desks for Pills. Bandages stop bleeding, Pills restore health, and Cola speeds stamina recovery for about three minutes. A Flare meets the Hospital Helipad's signal requirement; Smuggler's Boat requires a $2,000 payment. Check actual trader quotes before choosing valuables to carry.
Items with an Immediate Raid Use
Keep supplies that address your current injury or chosen exit accessible. Residential Medicine Cabinets are a place to look for Bandages and Pills; bedroom Desks can also contain Pills. Container contents vary between searches.
If you are bleeding, use a Bandage first, then right-click Pills and select Use to restore health. See the healing guide for treatment and medical supply collection.
Cola speeds stamina regeneration for about three minutes, making it useful when you need to keep moving.
For Hospital Helipad, bring a Flare and light it on the pad. The red-and-white signal stick supports quick slots, and the HUD includes Throw Signal Flare. Cash pays for trader purchases and insurance premiums; Smuggler's Boat requires a $2,000 payment. Match your supplies to your route using the extraction locations and requirements.

Materials and Residential Loot Sources
| Item | Identification clue | Where to look |
|---|---|---|
| Scrap | Small pile of gray-brown scraps | Residential Cabinets and bedroom Wardrobes |
| Tape | Gray roll of adhesive tape | Crates and residential Cabinets |
| Rags | Bundle of cloth scraps | Wardrobes |
| Toolkit | TOOLKIT label on a larger item in the loot grid | Residential Cabinets |
| Water | WATER label | Residential Cabinets |
| Bottle | BOTTLE label, separate from Water | Residential Cabinets |
Use these container leads to target the item you need. Water and Bottle are distinct items, so check the label before collecting one. For searching furniture and transferring its contents, follow the looting guide.
Electronics and Valuables
| Electronic item | How to recognize it | Carried inventory example |
|---|---|---|
| RAM | Green circuit board with dark chips and contacts along its lower edge | Carried in a Rifleman Rig |
| Pager | Small device with a display and buttons | In the backpack |
Jewelry and Ring are valuables to consider bringing back for sale. Inspect the item's sale quote and named buyer before deciding which deserves your remaining space. Open TRADERS for buying and selling; Scrapper's interface includes a SELL tab.
Choose between valuables using their actual quotes and occupied grid cells. A Jewelry or Ring label alone does not tell you which pays more. Use the loot value calculator to compare sale proceeds and value per cell.

Decide What to Carry for This Run
Give current medical needs and your chosen exit's required supplies priority over optional loot. Once those needs are covered, compare extra items by their actual sale quotes, occupied cells, and whether they fit the space you have left. A valuable item is only useful as sale income if you bring it home: dying in a raid loses your carried gear except what is protected in your secure case.
Keep materials for a specific requirement you can identify in the game, rather than assigning them a crafting purpose from their names. Tape is a roll of adhesive tape; Lost Tapes are story collectibles connected to Stillwater's MX-11 history.
For equipment decisions, use the dedicated references:
- Weapons and ammo for weapon slots and ammunition labels.
- Armor and rigs for protection, weight, and rig storage choices.
- Backpacks for capacity, grid shape, and purchase prices.
