HUSH Backpacks: Sizes, Prices and Budget Picks — illustrated cover
AT A GLANCE

Duffel Bag is the budget pick: 3,795 Cash buys 18 cells in a 6×3 grid. Hiking Backpack costs 8,100 Cash for 20 cells in a 4×5 grid. Choose Hiking when its extra two cells or taller layout are worth the higher purchase cost. These are displayed Scrapper shelf prices; check your selected offer before buying.

Its displayed 3,795 Cash price buys 18 cells in a 6×3 grid, only two fewer cells than Hiking Backpack for less than half the purchase cost. The wider layout is also useful for suitable item shapes.

A useful capacity upgrade when its grid shape or extra space justifies the higher price.

The 4×5 grid provides 20 cells, making it the larger of these two options. Its displayed 8,100 Cash price is harder to justify on a tight replacement budget unless the extra cells or layout help your loadout.

Budget Picks: Duffel Bag and Hiking Backpack

For budget looting, Duffel Bag ranks in S tier and Hiking Backpack in A tier, prioritizing purchase cost and usable grid space.

  • Choose Duffel Bag for affordable replacements. Its 18 cells give you nearly as much storage as Hiking at less than half the listed purchase price. That makes it the stronger default when keeping each loadout affordable matters most.
  • Choose Hiking Backpack for its extra room or layout. Its 20-cell grid offers two more cells, with a taller shape that can suit your packing needs. Pay the premium when that space makes a practical difference to what you carry.

This budget ranking compares these two backpacks.

Once you have chosen your storage, build the rest of your quiet loot-run loadout around equipment you can afford to replace.

Backpack Sizes and Offers

Use the backpack records to compare capacity, dimensions, weight and purchase offers. Prices are the displayed quotes from Scrapper’s level-2 BUY → GEAR shelf, including offers locked behind higher trader levels. Check the current price and stock on the offer you select.

Military Rucksack has three separate offers with different requirements. Keep each price paired with its own unlock condition. Duffel Bag’s 1,540 Cash quote names Rook as the buyer; its Scrapper purchase price is 3,795 Cash.

Choose a Grid That Fits Your Loot

Duffel’s 6-column, 3-row grid is wider; Hiking’s 4-column, 5-row grid is taller. Hiking has more total cells, but the useful choice depends on the shapes you want to pack and the continuous space left around your other items.

Drag an item and press R to rotate it before deciding that it will not fit. Rotation changes its orientation, so compare both orientations against the available space. Scattered empty cells do not necessarily provide a large enough opening for one item.

Duffel Bag’s 4×2 item size describes the space the bag itself occupies when stored. Its internal storage is 6×3, or 18 cells. Its listed item weight is 1.2 kg.

For rearranging items, resolving No space, or totaling storage across your equipment, use the inventory guide and storage calculator. You can also compare rig storage options when planning space beyond your backpack.

Buy a Backpack and Check Locked Offers

  1. Open TRADERS in the lobby and select Scrapper.
  2. Open BUY → GEAR and select the backpack offer you want.
  3. Check its purchase price, item details, remaining stock and any LV or TASK requirements.
  4. Choose your quantity. With enough Cash, an unlocked offer and stock available, press BUY.

The locked backpack offers have these requirements:

  • Tactical Backpack: Scrapper LV 3, priced at 7,125 Cash.
  • Military Rucksack: 25,200 Cash at LV 3 + TASK, 23,400 Cash at LV 4, or 21,600 Cash at LV 5.

LV refers to the trader’s level. An offer marked LV 3 + TASK requires both conditions, so reaching level 3 alone does not satisfy that offer. Compare the separate Military Rucksack listings and choose one whose requirements you meet.

If stock is depleted, check the displayed restock countdown. For trader progression, the broader equipment shelf and quantity-based purchase totals, see the Scrapper shop guide.
